§02  /  The problem
11.9yrs
years of life lost — on average — in Delhi NCR

28 million people are breathing air that is shortening their lives. Every day. Quietly. Cumulatively.

Masks seal the face. Room purifiers stay in one room. Nothing is designed for the hours between — the commute, the run, the office, the dinner. That gap is the whole day.

“I don't believe the answer is fear, alarms, or medical framing. I believe the answer is quiet, well‑designed tools that fit into real life. This is the beginning.”

What it does
Vayu delivers HEPA‑filtered air directly to your nostrils through a lightweight nasal interface. No seal, no strap, no barrier to conversation. You breathe naturally — Vayu augments the air you were going to breathe anyway.
§05  /  How it works

Three parts.
One breath.

A modular system, designed so each piece can improve without disturbing the others. What you wear has stayed the simplest part on purpose.

01 / Main unitHEPA · FAN
Filters the air.

HEPA cartridge, centrifugal fan, breath sensor. Ambient air in, clean air out — only on demand.

02 / TubeROUTED
Carries it.

A slim silicone line follows the body's own contours — behind the ear, along the jaw — fully concealed.

03 / InterfaceTPU · SOFT
Delivers it.

A soft, open‑nostril interface rests along the cheek. Two prongs, never sealed. You breathe as you always have.

§06 · Feature 01

Silent between breaths.

A differential pressure sensor watches for the first draw of an inhale. The fan lifts, delivers, stops. No ambient whir. No standby hum. Nothing running against the quiet of a normal day.

§07 · Feature 02

Open nostril,
open life.

The nasal interface enters your nostrils without sealing them. You can talk, eat, laugh, kiss. Exhale exits freely — a one‑way prong architecture keeps it from cycling back into the system.

HEPA, by the slice.

A medical‑grade HEPA element captures particulates ≥ 0.3µm at 99.97%. Replaceable. Unrushed. The thing you'll replace is intentionally the smallest, cheapest part.

§10  /  Founder

The first goal is to build something people are willing to live with.

Vayu is being developed from scratch at the Masters' Union Makers Lab, in Delhi NCR. Four prototypes deep. Each version tests a specific hypothesis — airflow, breath detection, comfort, one‑way architecture. No outsourced engineering, no shortcuts on the parts that touch skin.

If a wearable is worn consistently, it becomes a platform. That's a conversation for later. This year, we're focused on the first hundred people who won't take it off.

The four
that matter.

Everything we have an answer for, we've answered. Everything we don't, we haven't pretended to.

No. Vayu uses an open‑nostril nasal interface — your nostrils are never sealed. You breathe naturally. The device augments the air you inhale, rather than replacing the act of breathing.
You'll receive a position number. When production begins, access follows that order. Ring 1 — athletes and training communities in Delhi NCR — get priority. No referral tricks, no tiers. Position is earned by being early, and that's it.
We're in v4. We'll share a timeline when we're confident we can meet it. We don't make promises we can't keep.
Pricing will be announced before launch. Waitlist members hear first, at the price they'd have paid anyway.
